Movimento per la vita: “Vengano riconosciuti dignità
e diritti all’uomo, sin dal concepimento”
Dalla Sicilia a Bruxelles: la mozione sarà presentata
alla Commissione Europea il 29 marzo
Palermo, Bruxelles – “Per ritrovare speranza bisogna avere il coraggio di dire la verità: la vita di ogni uomo è sacra”. In un momento in cui le istituzioni europee, per come la nostra redazione ha più volte riportato, discutono sui diritti degli omosessuali e promuovono l’aborto, questo è il coro unanime che il Movimento per la Vita ha fatto partire da Terrasini, in provincia di Palermo, e farà arrivare direttamente a Bruxelles. Il filo conduttore e l’obiettivo dell’assemblea tenuta in Sicilia e conclusa domenica, è quello di portare avanti la questione antropologica che “oggi è la grande questione sociale che può essere qualificata di carattere epocale e planetario ed il riconoscimento che ogni essere umano è ‹‹Uno di Noi›› è il principio di un vero rinnovamento civile e morale della società”. Il 29 marzo, questa linea guida approderà a Bruxelles per dare vita al Comitato che, il 1 aprile, presenterà alla Commissione Europea “ il quesito dell’iniziativa cittadina che chiede il riconoscimento della dignità e dei diritti umani fin dal concepimento ed il conseguente comportamento nelle attività svolte dall’Ue”. Approvate all’unanimità la relazione di apertura da parte del Presidente del Movimento per la Vita, Carlo Casini, e la mozione finale, hanno raccolto, invece, la maggioranza dei voti favorevoli anche il Bilancio consuntivo 2011 e quello preventivo 2012.Un’occasione, quella dell’incontro nazionale del Movimento per la Vita, per rinnovare anche le cariche elettive: per il consiglio direttivo è stato riconfermato presidente Carlo Casini, per il collegio dei probiviri sono stati eletti Ubaldo Camilotti, Diego Cremona e Franco Vitale, oltre ai supplenti Marco Ciamei e Angelo Passaleva, mentre i revisori dei conti saranno Maria Tudech Henke e Guido Vito, con Fabrizio Sala supplente. In attesa anche dell’appuntamento in Vaticano per la manifestazione “Uno di Noi” , fissato per il 20 maggio prossimo, il presidente Casini richiama alla partecipazione l’intero “popolo della vita”, composto da movimenti, associazioni, gruppi o anche singole persone, e lo richiama all’unità e alla forza, nella consapevolezza che “una scintilla può accendere un grande fuoco”.
