Nonostante i vincoli rimossi dalla Mifid, la
parcellizzazione delle piattaforme sta rientrando
Milano, Francoforte – Nell’epoca della grande velocità e interattività degli scambi finanziari le borse tradizionali hanno lasciato spazio a nuovi contesti di scambio, come gli Ecn, cioè i sistemi di negoziazione alternativi. La Mifid ha inoltre liberalizzato i luoghi di contrattazione. Risultato? La fusione fra Ecn americano Bats e Chi-X Europe nel dicembre 2011 ha dato vita alla principale borsa europea, cui seguono il London Stock Exchange ed Euronext. La classifica è stata stilata in uno studio dalla società di consulenza Kpmg. Per riassumere: Bats Chi-X concentra il 26,4% degli scambi, Lse il 16,9%, Euronext (borse di Amsterdam, parigi e Bruxelles) il 15,4%, Deutsche Borse il 12,9% e Six Swiss Exchange il 6,5%. A livello italiano rimane incontrastato il ruolo di Borsa Italiana, con l’80% degli scambi, ma la quota di Bats Chi-X è comunque quasi triplicata negli ultimi 3 anni. Da questo scenario emerge una tendenza interessante, poiché la liberalizzazione degli scambi ha portato ad un’iniziale parcellizzazione dei luoghi di contrattazione, ma l’esigenza di competitività degli stessi ha spinto vecchie e nuove “piazze affari” ad unirsi, creando nuovi perni economico-finanziari.
